I think that he and Aspas have shown the talent that we saw in them since they left. I guess mentality and physicality were the big problem for them. I can see the logic of our signings from that era individually but collectively clustering those gambles was an odd way to try and build a competitive squad.

I guess if they had had the impact at LFC that they have subsequently had elsewhere they could have been great signings
