Not sure he really had a chance here. We have signed far too many young mifielders who seemed to have a lot of promise only to achieve nothing... A bit sad really.

Combined with the fact no homegrown players have made it through to the first team for more than a couple of seasons before burning out.

Didnt Gerrard Carra Owen Macca and Fowler come through before we established the academy setup?
