    My tour of Anfield

My tour of Anfield was awesome. The guy who looked after us was brilliant. he was knowledgeable, funny and intersting. He really took good care of us.

The most amazing thing was going up the tunnel to the pitch.

The weirdest and most touching bit was when we were shown the dressing room, hearing how Gerard Houllier was being treated for his heart attack whilst Thommo delivered the half time team talk.

We considered that in 100 years time people will think that story is made up. "Oh yes sure," they will say "that would never happen!"

    Allez! Allez! Gerard Houllier!

Anyway here is some pics of me to make the ladies damp. No..it is not Phil Dowd, you cheeky young scamps!!

Go on the tour. It is amazing!

Haha, nice one. The stadium tour is indeed ace. I think I've done it three times.

The only other stadium tour I've been on was at the Nou Camp. That was ****ing brilliant.

I took my 2 eldest boys and my daughter on the tour the last time I was in England. We really enjoyed it. The museum is great too. I think the players should be taken around the museum once every few months just to remind them what the club is about. Maybe some of the season ticket holders too.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

I would like to go, how much is the tour and do you need to be in a group, if so, how big?

As I remember, you need to book it a few weeks in advance, and you join in with other people who've booked the same date. You don't need to set the group up yourself, just get a date when they are not yet fully booked.

You don't need to be in a group you just book it and you will go in a group with a load of others who've booked the same time tour as you. I can't remember how much it is now but it's not expensive at all.

Just turn up - they have scheduled tours and they'll get you in the next available group.

The tour was about eight quid...think it's more like a tenner now.
