At the time I went Barca had only won one European Cup. Seeing the replica trophy sitting out in pride of place and the tour guide making special mention of it, I had to laugh as we had 4 of them at that stage!
When on the Anfield tour my mate was told off by the guide for getting into one of the empty baths in the dressing room.

I'm positive I've mentioned this before but I did the Nou Camp tour the day before we played them in a CL group game. Quite a few players were knocking about and we met Christanval & Rochemback outside and Luis Enrique literally in the decrepit tunnel.
We saw Kluivert inside, near the trophy room/myoozeum. I'd forgotten my camera and bought a ****ty disposable Kodak one. Kluivert agreed to pose for a pic but when it came out all you could see were his teeth.
When I got back none of my housemates believed me when I told them it was me & Kluivert.

The tour guide was a very nice 'large' fellow who shouted at me (in a nice way mind) to get off the pitch. I obliged and after kissing the sacred turf I took my seat in teh home dug out to hear about the wonderful stadium. What a great moment.Originally posted by fredo View PostWho ran after you though ?
I think I annoyed the guide because I was first in the dressing room and down the tunnel - he was getting fed up trying to keep up with me.
Kept telling us how great Leonhardsen was going to be

And we agreed...

Jeez, I remember when Leonhardsen signed. That was the beginning of the end for Uncle Roy.Originally posted by looprevil View PostThe tour guide was a very nice 'large' fellow who shouted at me (in a nice way mind) to get off the pitch. In Uni we had to go to Old Trafford as part of some module, anyway we had to go on the tour as well and walk round the museum, so me and my mate went and asked one of the guide fellas where the rest of the european cups were
he quickly cottoned on and said took it in good spirits, After that we went on a wonder a found an unlocked door leading to the concourse behind one of the stand's and then ended up in the the corridors wher the executive boxes where, there was a bit of building / decorating work going on but no-one was there that day, we found some paint and added a nice bit of pro-LFC graffiti to the bare walls

I went to the Allianz Arena and Nou Camp within the space of a week. 2 absolutely fantastic stadiums.
Had a tour guide in Allianz who was sound. We had a good laugh as me, my brother and cousin were all in LFC shirts. The same happened in the Nou Camp the week after. It was a couple of weeks before Athens last year and we were getting stopped by random people all the time. All different nationalities, going on about how they hope we batter AC. One group of spanish lads shouted us, ran over and started playing youll never walk alone on their phones. Great. We even got a glimpse of Ronaldinho, before we got kicked out of the Press Conference room!!!
The best part of the Nou Camp tour was when we sat in some of the seats in the home end. Off all the 100,000 seats there, we pick these particular seats. When we looked down on the floor, someone had wrote LFC 2-1 on the floor. ****ing Brilliant!!!!!
Will post a picture of it later when I get home from work!!!
You'll Never Walk Alone
Awoooga!!!!!!!!
