Andy Gray said that was "six of one and half a dozen of the other". :whatever:

His display in the commentary box last night absolutely ****ing reeked of bitterness.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

      No way was Lucas ****e.

He gets his passes off really quickly and his distribution last night was pretty crisp and incisive.

he's a very tidy player. Nothing flash (although i think he has this in his locker) just goes about his business and tries to keep us ticking

it's a strange one the 'lucas debate' - i think the lad is quality, and i think i have said before he (imo) has more potential than Babel.

I think the problem with lucas is that he just seems to have slotted in to the team with no fuss, no moments of madness, no stand out flashes of brilliance to announce his arrival, he has just fitted in to his role like he has played here for 5 years not 5 months.

Granted he makes a few mistakes and he has had a few bad games but the lad is what? 18/19 or something and from another continent and probably moved/living away from home for the first time half way across the world. He is learning every game and could be a really solid player -

another thing i have said many times before, if wenger had signed lucas half the media/country would be wanking over wenger for unearthing another little gem

Anyone heard the comments about the foul on Lucas that led to the sending off? Not sure who it was but they were commenting that it was never a yellow card!

How was that not a yellow card?

Lucas was not ****e mate. He moves play along to either side, and bar a couple of stray passes when he tried to really play the fullbacks in he was very tidy......thats his job. He shouldnt be holding onto the ball driving forward. Thats Stevies job.

spot on. He's tidy like i said. I think he has more to show us, but at present he just does the simple stuff to make sure he doesnt get offside with his team mates. Im sure he has a bit of brazilian magic somewhere in his locker, and in future i hope he gets his confidence up to show us.

We may not see the "best" of Lucas for a season or two.

                        It was Andy Gray.

"a shocking decision, a shocking mistake"

Honestly....Sky ought to look into their usage of him as their main co-commentator - certainly where our games are concerned. If he can't hide his contempt and can't stop himself from making embarrassingly dumb comments, he should be ****ed off.

Still, it's funny to listen to such rank bitterness

So what did he actually do in the game? ****e may be too strong a word but he was way below average. I can count with one hand the number of tackles he made. If you notice, he was out of position a number of times that allow Inter players to sneak in. Too slow to keep pace with them as well.

As mentioned in my earlier post, it might be down to his nervousness. Let's see if he performs better next season but my hopes are not high.

You can't take any chances in the position he plays in. If he make one mistake then it will be a great chance for the opponent to score.

His main priority, keep it safe.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
