Zlatan is over-rated for me, only in the fact that I don't think he's world class, he's very, very good but he's no Torres.

Bashear is so bad I nearly changed over to ESPN and Tommy Smyth. I know no greater insult other than to of actually done it (which I didnt). Bashear is so bland and boring I have no idea why he is given the job.

I love Palumbo though (even if he hates us?), those bags under his eyes should be donated to science and he called the Italian corruption years ago. Used to love his Serie A round ups. He was on the ball a long time ago.

Especially about Juve. Week after week he pointed it out, 2-3 years before and just scoffed. I used to laugh my tit's off every week. He's got my respect just for that even if we don't flick his switch, at least the rest is credible

Anyone even considering giving Mascherano less than 9 must have had their brain spooned out and replaced with a rotating glitter-ball. Know-nothing monkeys.

An ok performance, a little worrying at times as they should've scored a couple. Zanetti was running us ragged, there was far too much space in front of the box and the game clearly identified the importance of Alonso. Lucas is young, but needs to learn quick. In a game like that he should've been making his presence known but he was basically anonymous and standing off when he should've been causing a nuisance. I thought both he and Mascher failed to make an impact protecting the defence.

Babel looked to be lacking confidence and failed to take people on like we know he can do, Kuyt was woeful, and a pretty poor performance all round really.

A combination of our 2 goal cushion, their awful finishing and the talent that is Torres saw us through, but it was clear that we need to improve.

If that is the best Italy can offer, then we would walk their league every year. I said it before the game, Inter are a decent side in a very average league. We made them look less than ordinary last night, they resorted to long ball tactics against us and mentally they were shot long before Torres killed them off.
Brilliant performance by us and to a man my hat is off to them.

I just think the fact we have beaten an Italian team twice who have won back to back championships, are currently 6 points clear at the top of their league, hadn't been beaten at home in the league for 18 months and their own fans clapped us off constitutes more than an ok performance.
