legend for the club no doubt and hope he stays on in some coaching capacity but sadly his best days are behind him, would love if he got one more season just to get the league all the same
He has been our best defender this season.

Sure, he is a bit susceptible to pace, but he always has been.

I think you're doing him a disservice as he has performed consistently well all season.

Question re a Skrtel/Agger pairing - anyone know or care to opin whether either will be good enough organisationally? Increasingly important part of the centre-backs role....
if skertel tells you to do something you'd do it

has has had a good season cant deny that..

my view is that agger carra and now maybe skertel should be ahead in the pecking order.

Sami has been magnificent this year considering even he would not of expected to have played so many games. I think we play better when we don't need to play him but his form this year has been highly commendable.

Skrtl is looking a very good buy.

Why the **** do people keep going on about Sami's declining pace. Do those people who moan about it not remember 1999 and then on? He never ****ing had any to start with, so it's not like he had it to lose.

              Agree with the pecking order.

It was the "I'm not a fan of Sami" that set us all off. Best be careful on here, we're bit sensitive to our Sami.

              Nb Adelaide United just scored

sami hyypia has been a legend for liverpool over the last 10 seasons and no-one can say otherwise. His lack of pace has been a problem from the start but the speed in his head makes up for that. His positional sense is superb and im sure carra has learnt a great deal from him.

Fair enough, it's just when you said that you weren't a Sami fan it set the alarm bells ringing.

I don't think any true red could say that.
