Good to see Ian Cotton was in fine form again, such a fine orator.

Well said Nobbylad. And not a single swear word !Originally posted by nobbyladCouple of points for people to consider.....
Liverpool never do anything in the public spotlight, transfers, sponsorship deals, stadium plans etc - are all well thought out in advance and with a fair amount of planning. People tend to get jumpy when there's no news and then breathe a sigh of relief when things get sorted.
Think of all the threads/posts over the last 12 months or so discussing the failings of the board etc. Then, in one fell swoop, when the stadium was cleared recently (i.e. lease etc), everyone was saying job well done. There was a good thread a week or so ago (think Rushscored4 contributed to it) which basically crystallised all the real info and how the clubs approach may have been cautious, but ultimately for the long term future.
I am not surprised by this 'late' interest, because I doubt it is a last minute thing or a knee jerk reaction by the club. I'm sure it will be another well-planned step in the right direction.
As far as the stadium is concerned, I'm confident, as far as investment goes, I'm also confident. The board get slated for being indecisive and not capitalising on recent success etc. However, my view would be that we are actually fairly well run and the stability of the club in the long term, is far more important than rash decisions made in response to other clubs selling out.
Now where's that :chillout: smiley?
Liverpool born and bred.

The links points to an article on the norwegian site earlier this month that talk about the two bids. They also say today that it might be three bids, with Morgan re-entering.Blank

And people question his motives. If he didn't love the club he wouldn't keep coming back.Originally posted by blackyMorgans fifth bid if he is involved again. You have to admire the mans determination. I wonder if The Kraft group are also involved?rnm is funny, funny like funny haha.
