Hyypia yet to hear from Liverpool over new deal

Sami Hyypia has revealed he's yet to hear from Liverpool about a new contract.

The Finn insisted: "I can't do anything if I don't get any offers. It's very difficult. I am waiting for the club to come to me with an offer.

"It would be good if I could stay here for longer. I have always said that is my target."

I thought he had the option of a one year extension.
    Forwards.......

They'll sort it at the end of the season, no need to panic Sami.

He will be here for one more season.

Sami has been a fantastic player for us.
Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

have to say he's done very well this season, did not expect him to play such a big part

credit to him and he deserves another contract

Probably depends on if Agger is fit for next season.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Nah, he'll be here, he said he wants to stay. Rafa has been making the right noises, hence why they started talking to him, he said he's not looking for guaranteed starts and the clincher. You will not find a 4th choice as good as him.

Won't depend on anything, he'll get another year.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

We were all over the place until he came. What a signing he turned out to be.Players like Rio,Woodgate etc being signed for 5-10 times as much.Sami pisses on all of them.

Me too. Can you think of a better 4th choice. Hell I reckon he could last a couple of years more. It's not like he could lose any pace. And given his experience he must have a brain the size of a planet?
