earlier in the season when he started getting a run in the side due to Agger's injury, he looked dodgy, scoring own goals in back to back games and being caught out repeatedly - I think KenDodd said it was like watching your gran die.

But he has been exceptional for us this season on the whole, and I would love to see Sami back for his testimonial year.

love to see sami get 1 more year playing then move into a playing/coaching role. legend of a man...hope he stays involved with the club in some capacity.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

If there's anyone who deserves another contract and a testimonial it's this guy. A true Liverpool legend, fantastic proffesional and a great footballer, a real testiment to both himself and this club.

Man, if only he was a few years younger and had a bit more pace he could be at this club for a lot longer.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

Rafa will start negotiations once the season is over as he does not like contract negotiations disrupting his season, I am sure rafa thinks Sammi will have no problem signing an extension.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

          * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

just give him a season extension now. what's the big deal in making him wait? - his the best 4th choice any team could wish for.
