He's better then Voronin AND possibly Kuyt. Selling him and replacing him with Voronin was a step backwards.

I think there is maybe more to see from Voronin. Not that I think he will become another Torres or anything but I think he is less poor than many people seem to believe. The thing is that he and Kuyt are to similar and we really don't need two of that sort of player in the squad.

On the FSP topic the only way he was going to improve was to play games. He has found it harder this year copared to last in Spain I have heard. Decent player but seeing as we got some money for him I'm not mourning his loss and I definitely think it was the right decision for his career.

Agree, sometimes i feel Rafa is buying players in order to improve numbers as opposed to improving on what we currently have. We desperately need a world class right forward and fullbacks. We shall see in the summer i suppose.

I would have liked to have seen him play in the formation that we play now. He would certainly be as good as Kuyt in that position.

It wasn't a mistake to sell him but he should have been given more of a chance to see what he had to offer.

I'm glad he is doing well in Spain and has got a French national team call up.

He is struggling as his team Recro are struggling to, near the relegation zone they are. If they go down i think he'll be the first to go and i reckon he'll go to a decent club too.

I prefer Kuyt to Voronin, the lesser of the two evils as such, Voronin is slow and has little guile, why the feck sign him?

I think he made a great impact coming off the bench but never really showed his true potental when given a rare start. Nothing against FSP but maybe a little bit too much too soon for the lad. It is difficult for him to stick around when he wants 1st team football on a regular basis.

Maybe if he could have bided his time and waited things would have been different and maybe he would have eventually made a break through .... .... maybe ..... maybe ..... maybe.

I don't think that Rafa can get away in either buying potential or an eyebrow raising signing. He has got to buy some serious class.

I think in some ways he has improved what we already had but not in a dramatic fashion. I think that time has run out for buying unproven players.

I'd prefer to ship a lot of players out and play with a reduced playing squad but with better players and should we have injuries, give a couple of the reserves a chance.

Agree we should give the kids more of a chance, give them a run of games to prove themselves, is this not how the likes of Macmanaman, Fowler, Redknapp made there names under Souness? why buy crap when potentially you have better players already at the club?
