      Absolutely gutted.

And it makes it even worse when the missus says.

      "It's only a game"

Thought Reina was at fault big time today even though he did make a few good saves in there aswell and had Masch stayed on we could have given them a game today.

We could have done with a Ronaldo type player on that right handside instead of Kuyt.

BS. It's a little more complicated than that. For example only having 10 players. Blaming Rafa is the easy out.

Mascherano was stupid but you also need to ask why Ronaldo wasn't booked when he complained and waived his arms in the air time after time after time?

It should be the same rules for everyone.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

You are right the real difference was the wide players.

I wonder if we'll ever score at emirates, OT or stamford bridge again under rafa

Wouldn't be surprise if the ref is getting his photo taken with the mancs as we speak- ******

Once we have an equivalent array of attacking talent as they do, sure we will. They could bring Tevez off the bench us? Riise!

Stevie as captain should of had a word with Mascher as it was obvious he was loosing his head everytime the ref gave the mancs a free kick.

Totally agree. No one stepped up from the beginning nor when we needed it most.

So so disappointed and embarrassed. Really am.

Just not good enough. All over the pitch we were a clear second place.

Frustrating how our so called big players just went missing today. Big time Choke.

cant see much point in blaming the ref, a number of our players got found out -again- against a top team mentally and skillwise.

This was a Man United side which didn't play exceptionally well. They played in 2nd gear, lets say. We were very lucky we didn't get carved open far more.

It is pretty sad that when we have such a blockbuster match, we end up talking about the referee. It is obvious that the sending off was a pivotal point in the match but it was the lack of heart, desire and passion which disappointed me. Watch the third goal for evidence. Half tackles, pulling out of tackles for Michael Jackson to squirm his way through.

Our start was very encouraging but like every other game we play against the big teams, we soon fizzle out when teams start to get more of the ball. The next week is very key for Rafa who will need to unleash some bollockings to some individuals i.e Reina, Gerrard and try and restore some sort of belief that Liverpool can get fourth spot. (Fourth spot is no achievement by all means but it shows how poor we are)
