As I watched yet another inept display at Old Trafford, I wondered why we can win 7 straight games on the bounce, score plenty of goals and play some god stuff. Yet once we get on the turf at their place we just freeze, we couldn't seem to put together more than 2 passes for the most part. We never really looked threatening or in control. This was before the sending off and was compounded afterwards. It has to be our mentality I thought - it must be something when it happens year after year. We go out there expecting to lose. I thought I'd be on my own with that yet those thoughts have been echoed many times on here. Something needs to be done. Eileen Drewry ??
The other thing whuch has been bothering me all season and just wont go away is the form of Carra. He just doesn't seem his self. Once again I thought he was poor. Rooney put him on his arse with ease, he was fairly slow to close down Rooney's cross for the 1st goal. He was dithering on one of their first through balls at the start of the game that last year I'm sure he would have decisively dealt with. It's not meant to come across as its Cara's fault we lost, of course it wasn't. But the rock that Carra was last year just isnt the case this year. I've not seen Carra look as flat footed and slow in a long while, plus he has spent more time this year on his arse at times (making blocks and also falling over) than in the last 2 years imo. Perhaps its time he had a damn good break and recharged his batteries......which hopefully he'll get this summer.

Carra hasn't been the same since the rib injury at Sunderland. I don't know if he's still feeling this, or if it's another reason - unsettled defence, age, that he's peaked etc etc... but I agree he needs a rest
After a week of the usual chest thumping bravado from both fans and players
In build ups to games against utd, yet they get shamed on the pitch and our fans are barely heard, some real mongs get tickets to away games nowadays, the passion is being killed.
embarrassing all round.
lets just face it, they're better than us, 5 bloody wins in a row now where they've barely broke sweat. good grief, for how much longer are we gonna delude ourselves?
we're on the right track though, this is no easy job but i would prefer it if we didnt get too carried away each time we get a run of easy games and blow away teams at home.
I thought the away fans were excellent today. I clearly heard them singing the new Torres song non-stop for a good 10 minutes.
Anyway, it's bloody hard to make yourself heard in the middle of 70 odd thousand manc cunts so they done a pretty good job imo.
You must have been watching a different game. Plus those that do go aren't mongs, they have been following this club for years through good and bad times.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
