Most of these pundits speak utter tripe ! Apart from Alan Hansen, who is a lot more sensible than most, all of them are just plain boring and predictable. Was listening to Paul Walsh commenting our match last night.

Even Alan Hansen spouted the if only Torres had played every game crap though.

It's so ****ing boring, it's all any of them talk about.

What pissed me off was the inconsistency of the ref, Mascherano booked early on for a debatable tackle yet Anderson comes in late an gets nothing. Ref was f*cking abysmal

Not so, in my case. I like Andy Gray. I also like Alex Ferguson.

            Not me, no.

I was just venting my anger at Redknapp for acting like a complete ******!

There's having an opinion, and there's being, well, a complete ******!

The way he was going on, was a disgrace, IMO.

As for Gray. Yes, he can be annoying at times, with his "Anti-Liverpool" bias, but a lot of the time, he does call it as it is.

Never really had much respect for the guy, but I respect him for what he did yesterday.

At the end of the day, Masher was very silly, yes, but the ref could have handled it much better!

He could have told Torres to "Go away" as he could with Masher.

You could clearly see that Masher was smiling when he went up to the ref, asking "What happened"?

If that had have been Rooney or Ferdinand, I seriously doubt that we would have had the same outcome.

              No no no

You missed my whole point altogether.

It wasn't about opinions, it was about THE WAY he was going on. And IMO, he was bang out of order, and he was acting like a ****.

I for one, dont expect our ex reds to defend us all the time, but what I do expect, is for them to show a little respect, and not act like they hate us. And FOR ME, JR was acting like that yeterday!

                    they were both right tho.

redknapp's point was basically that masher shouldnt have got involved. he's right.

gray's point was that a player should not be booked for asking the ref a question. he's right.

stevie however should have been that player asking the question and should have told masher to shut up and that he'd deal with it.

No one is saying that Redknapp was wrong mate, it was the manner in which he expressed his opinions!

Your right on the rest of it though

I saw Stevie earlier telling Mascher to shut it up. Not sure if it was 'after' the incident though.

Mascherano did not get sent off for the one incident you seen after the torres booking it was an accumilation of the amount of times he complained to the ref after his first booking.

On its own merits he should never have been sent off for asking the ref what happened. But he had complained a few times. After the Ashley cole insident last week Mascherano and Torres were just made an example of.

Gerrard was anonymous most of the game to be honest. Nowhere to be seen when the Mascherano got sent off.

At the end of the day our defence was totally piss poor. Jamie had a bad game, kept diving in all the time. And ill say this again Skrtel is not ready for first team football. He is far too naive and cant read the game very well. Sami should have played.

Not having a go at you Havors mate but these continuous references / comparisons to the Asley Cole incident is winding me up no end

                              There is no comparison !!!

Even allowing for an accumilation of comments - Mascherano was sent off for standing beside the ref, smiling with his arms wide open asking him "why?" after his mate had been booked for having the audacity to ask why were his opponents not getting punished for repeatedly taking him out of the game

Cole was given a yellow card for a challenge which warranted a red on it's own, he then proceded to hurl abuse at the ref insisting he got the ball (which TV proved he never) and then went on to show the worst example of petulance I have seen on a football pitch, intently making a mockery of the ref for all to see.

If Mascherano gets a longer ban and that arsebag Cole gets away with what he did then there is no justice in the world
At a football club there's a holy trinity- the players the manager and the supporters, Directors dont come into it, they are only there to sign the cheques " - Bill Shankly
