I don't know what Redknapp said but in my opinion Mascher deserved to go.
Constant moaning to the ref is something that I totally disagree with. He was at it after every descision. I could sense after that first yellow that he was gonna end up getting sent off.
I'm sure I'm not the only person who was watching the game thinking "shut the **** up Mascherano". It was inevitable that he would get sent off. Especially after the Cole situation midweek. It was quite refreshing to watch the Arsenal V Chelsea game afterwards without the usual mouthing off by the players. Guess we were just unlucky that we were the ones who were made to pay by way of an example being made.
He lost his cool pure and simple. Alonso should have tried a bit harder when grabbing him as he stormed up to the ref just before getting sent off.
He was a ****ing idiot and cost us the game. I'm sure he'll learn from it though and it wouldn't suprise me if he put in some massive performances before the end of the season.Forwards.......

I guess we'll have to see what sort of ban he gets. Can't imagine it being longer than 3 games. Either way I can't see the loss of him in the league affecting us to bad. We'll still finish top 4 without him.Originally posted by lfcruleus View PostIn the Champions league cos he will probably be banned in the league?

It was just the bit where you said "Still cant ever over the fact that an ex-Liverpool player could go on like that".Originally posted by Owen20 View PostNot me, no.
I was just venting my anger at Redknapp for acting like a complete ******!
There's having an opinion, and there's being, well, a complete ******!
The way he was going on, was a disgrace, IMO.
As for Gray. Yes, he can be annoying at times, with his "Anti-Liverpool" bias, but a lot of the time, he does call it as it is.
Never really had much respect for the guy, but I respect him for what he did yesterday.
At the end of the day, Masher was very silly, yes, but the ref could have handled it much better!
He could have told Torres to "Go away" as he could with Masher.
You could clearly see that Masher was smiling when he went up to the ref, asking "What happened"?
If that had have been Rooney or Ferdinand, I seriously doubt that we would have had the same outcome.
These guys are supposed to be impartial or they've got no real credibility as pundits - and it just made me laugh when so many on here (not necessarily yourself) hypocritically call Gray a 'bitter blue c*nt' etc whenever he criticises us, yet expect ex-Reds like Redknapp to be pro-Liverpool all the time.
The only exception I can think of is on Soccer Saturday, where they have deliberately biased people like Thommo and Charlie Nicholas to provoke debate. Yes Redknapp is an annoying-voiced **** talker, but bringing the fact he used to play for us into any criticism of him just devalues it IMO."the correct decision would have been a penalty for us a red card for Gattuso and a yellow for Stevie"

Redknapp, however, is possibly one of the worst pundits o the telly. It's nothing to do with
his lfc connections, and im not sure if he is anti us (well of course he isnt) but his analysis of situations, and his wllingness to say anything that agrees with popular opinion, for any game/team, is quite irrirtating. shame, nice lad and all that.

Sounds perfectly reasonable to meOriginally posted by Ron_Mexico View PostYeah over one article

I said that was the day I gave up on him. There's also his embarrassing 'career' in the media, I cringe every time I see him, he's got more of an allegiance to Chelsea than he does to Liverpool. Lawrenson can be embarrassing but he's also a legendary player for Liverpool, Redknapp achieved **** all
Read the article. I'll give you a little snippet:
"As I sat by the window in MacDonalds, our family's favourite restaurant, Frank waddled in looking every inch the fat, greedy overpaid cunt he is. Even though he looked distinctly chavvy, it was his protruding stomach that instantly caught the eye. The conversation was soon flowing as he ordered five Big Mac meals for himself, with a chocolate milkshake and three apple pies for dessert, and we began talking about how Frankie was gonna screw a big fat new contract out of Roman..."
he's a douche bag, and i don't like douche bags...is that clear enough for you?

Do you know I think I'd forgotten just exactly how much I hate United and the Chavs until yesterday, especially seeing those ****s Ronaldo and Drogba celebrate their goals in their usual preening, 'im so good I could ****' way...they make the bitters just seem like an annoying little brother in comparison

Well said big manOriginally posted by macca_82 View PostAt the end of the day steve bennett was looking for someone to send off yesterday so he wouldn't look like a ****house after getting bollocked about the ashley cole incident. it just so happened that mascher made a tackle early on that warranted a yellow card imo and continued to talk costantly to the ref when most of te time the incidents had nothing to do with him.
If mascher hadn't been sent off for so called decent he would have been sent off for another tackle you could just see it happening. Someone i.e. Gerrard should have got a grip of him and said look not long til half time calm it down. But as usual the "captain" of the team was nowhere to be seen.
You would think that players would have a little bit more common sense but alas they don't. I love the passion mascher has for the game but i think it could have been put to better use yesterday.
Although if it was me that came out with that i'd have got slated but anyway
