Anyone saw the Brown goal as having a strong hint of handball ? It's clear to me the movement of his arm turned the ball in direction of the goal. It should have been disallowed and I'm quite surprised no one picked on that!

He flicked it with his head IMO, Reina got a slight glove to it and then it possibly hit Brown in the arm or the neck.

our most important player is gerrard. he simply didnt turn up yesterday. if he doesnt fire - then our whole attacking play is powder puff. surprisingly he looked nervous.

Its not his fault some were even worse than him. Babel needs to realise his potential (quickly) and why rafa plays arbeloa at all is a mystery. He cant defend, his positional sense is crap and he cant play offside. What he was doing when rooney played in nani for his goal is beyond me.

Reina had a dodgy spell which we havent seen from him in a long time.

We can sit here and say that bennett took the game away from us in that once we were down to 10 men we had no chance against united. But the truth is that Mascherano probably would have been sent off anyway, he had been booked, he kept mouthing off and committing silly fouls.

His next foul would have seen him sent off. It was a disaster waiting to happen.
