His best mate is a manc fan. Riise was slagging him about the goal he got against them in a recent documentary. If I had a friend playing for united and I followed Liverpool id ask him to get me a jersey too!! No harm in that.
(Gerard hasn't got a manc jersey either, its Rooneys England jersey he has.)
Its funny how some people quickly forget what certain players did for their club. Michael Owen is a good example, a hero one day and now he gets booed by a section of Liverpool 'fans'.
Riise has had one poor season and now he is '****'??? It maybe is time to sell, but lets not forget the 7 years he gave us. Always 100%.
Will Torres be next for the slagging when he has a poor season?

My point is that Liverpool's current players are too pally with the enemy.
Maybe you think differently. No wonder they keep beating us lately.

Too true we need a nasty arrogant streak. Even Carra admitted that we are a bit soft-centered.Originally posted by PostmanPat View PostSays the man who posted a video of himself dancing with another man.

Too right. When I first heard this it was like......Originally posted by tsb View PostNo time for sentiment. He's crap and has been for a while. Get him out and get someone who can tackle and deliver a decent cross in.
"I watched the Champions League quarter-finals and the way they crushed Arsenal. Only the greatest and the best can play such a match.

fair comment, he just hasnt kicked on like he should have, some great goals, but now that these have dried up ou do wonder what else Riise canoffer us. He's not quite good enough to be either a LB or LW and we dont play with wingbacks.Originally posted by Ron_Mexico View Postgerrards got a rooney shirt if i remember correctly
i know he's not very good but i'll miss riise, he loves the clubs and the fans and has always given his best. he's just such a limited player. scored some fantastic goals in his time here, i love the one he scored against everton in his first season i believe it was. running from midfield, turning defenders inside out and lashing the shot into the bottom corner at woodison
he just stopped improving a couple seasons ago, i can't believe he's still only 27!
If we got a decent offer for him (say 5mil ish) then we should take it and let him go, perhaps it'd be good for him as well.

The first time he hasn't been a regular in the team and he's moaning about opportunities, I wouldn't say he's exactly sacrificing himself for the cause. I'm not Riise's biggest critic, but the last few months have highlighted how detrimental he can be to our attacking play and he needs to realise that its going to take more than his name to get back into the first-team.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostI don't think anyone can argue about Riise's commitment and service.
It's a shame some of our so called better players don't have his dedication. Just think if Collymore had given his all like Riise.........
He was a good signing and we have had our monies worth.

Great servant to the club and it really annoys me how some people treat him. It is clear that he hasnt improved along with the club itself but no need to be disrespectful to a player who has gave his all for the club.
I wish him all the best in the rest of his career if he does leave in the summer, and will remember how he was part of us winning number 5, his goals and the other throphy winning sides he was part of.
