Thanjk you.

By my journo friend who has been told by someone very close to the top of DIC.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
If we where going to be his plaything why use DIC? why not buy us himself.
now using an investment company means they want a return. they meay use us as a loss leader for a while but that is not a longterm plan that mweans success for LFC.
There as more holes in your post than swiss cheese AF

If he buy it himself then it wouldn't increase the value of the DIC portfolio.

He spends money like it's going out of fashion on Horses etc.... that sometimes offer very little return, how ever refuses to spend a little ott to gain one of the most decorated Clubs in the World....
If LFC was a race horse he would have bought us by now, this to me says one thing, His Heart Is Not In It, there for I can not see it being the Dogs balearics that every one thinks they might be.
I think the lack of follow through on the LFC sale is down to Hicks more than DIC. Plus the fact that Parry and Moores pulled out of the original deal and sold to Gillet and Hicks is enough to test anyones resolve. The fact that they are back in the picture and consulting with the fans is indication enough that they are serious. The takeover seems inevitable at this point in time, there's always procrastination when deal making.
I always look around for the best price for my LFC shirt, does that question my loyalty to the club?
I know that DIC is owned by shareholders but it's the Sheihk that has the final say.
We would more or less be his plaything, like it or not, when it comes down to how much money we spend. We won't be run to make a profit. DIC will run us with a loss to make the DIC portfolio worth more.
Think big, think bigger. That is what they will do.
For example, if Rafa, or whatever manager they want, want Aguero and Atletico say that they want £35m for him then the manager will get the £35m to sign him.

AFII, when you say things like this it just brings wonderful images to my mind, images of the very very best players, (just take your pick) all wearing the Red of LFC, Can it, Will it ever really be this way. For now i suppose i'll just have to make do with my imagination.
can you please explain how it will increase the value of the porfolio for DIC?
Most investments are fairly bleak ATM. Football will probably still grow, perhaps even quicker if things get tough. It's a lower-middle class game really, isn't it?
Liverpool, if competitive on the field and with a big stadium will compete world wide and be self supporting and the numbers will grow. It's a mid to long term investment that could pay massive dividends IMO.
Mind you I am known to be wildly optimistic when it comes to Liverpool
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

That is what I have been told.
We should expect nothing less,
Because hopefully, soon we'll be representing a One Club City.
AND (fingers crossed) A One Club Country
Sorry mate, misread your first post. Got no idea actually. Bet they do though.
lol dont worry. the question is mainly aimed at AF.
I would love it if they threw money at us. i doubt they will. yes they will allow better investment than moores or the yanks. (or we hope they will) but they want something out of it.
Just looking at their website (DIC) and they own a stake in Sony. Can see some fit in with them. TV Playstation opportunities maybe. but cant see LFC having a bearing on such a big corp. Plus its only a stake.
They own alliance medical, A company called almatic. couldnt be bthered reading more
however I really CANT see how LFC will increase the value of those companies.

We have a lot of good youngsters and an almost complete 1st 11. We do not have to throw that much money at us IMO. 30-50M GBP net investment in the squad could transform our squad.
Once we build a big 70K + stadium we will be raking it in. Add increased media revenue, merchandise aswell.
