He's now on Sky Sports' highlights on SS2 with Rob Hawthorne. Both of them need tar and feathering.

Was just watching the highlights on sky, and was about to make a lengthy post about this absolute ****, but I see there's allready one here.

His comments about Garcia, had nothing to do with the match on the night. Okay he does get away with some stuff, but what he said in commentary was a bit over the top, and he just loved it when Garcia had that handball.

At one point he said Newcastle had not been troubled defensively and we'd split them open twice and forced saves from the keeper. What an absokute ****wit.

Hope that ******* doesn't get the opportunity to commentate one of our matches again, because i'll need a new telly when i put me foot through it.

the worst thing for me is - how has he got this gig??!

He was a useless **** as a player anyway, at least the majority of these experts analysts have got some sort of pedigree in the game - this **** has done **** all and it shows in his talk - how he defended Scott parker and then the replay showed he was bull****ting the ref - not a mention, all he did was bang on about Garcia having the cheek to suggest such a thing

just watched the highlights on sky and thought mrwood ws a right twunt. normally he just annoys me but today thoght he was awfull. not really the ideal matter for a first post but what the hell. he remembered in the end that he hd to eulogise the alonso goal as he had to get his voice on the sky archives.

Amoeba was offside when the ball was played to him. If the linesman had done his job, the flag would have gone up and Agger could have hit him over the head with Mallet's Mallet and it wouldn't have been a pen. For me, this was the least convincing penalty of the lot.

100% right mate. Selective memory of the highest order from the tw@. I was watching on GSports so only 'enjoyed' Mr Marwood on Sky +.

Marwoods commentary tonight was a disgrace.

Marwood might have been bad, but much better than the french dudes on TPS Football on European Satallite, couldn't work out a word they were saying *

*I don't speak french, but I think they liked Alonso's fieldgoal.

He was leader of the PFA while still playing. They had (possibly still have) a rule that an active player is in nominal charge. In other words, he was regarded as being an intelligent man hence his media career.

It's the same track as that taken by Garth "Interminable" Crookes.

Unutterable ****e the pair of them.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
