Marwood is a **** and put in his worst performance yet last night.

He actually laughed off Babayaro's assault on Kuyt! Just brushed over it as though it was nothing, then continued to harp on about Newcastle's "three stonewall penalties".

Apparently the FA are gonna look into Babayaro's slap - which was far worse than Reina's vicious assault on Robben last season.

We didn't play particularly brilliantly last night though but i wouldn't go as afar as saying we were poor. We can play better and on another day it would have run out a cricket score if we were truely on song.

But doubt that Rafa's tactics are in favor of all out attack.

The most annoying thing was the was he kept harping on about the 3 penalties he reckoned they should have had but never mentioned the one we should have had for Babeyaro's punch on Kuyt. If the ref had spotted that it would have been 2-0 (probably) & they would have been doen to 10 men.

Also he was contradicting himself since he'd already said that the third one wasn't a penalty and the first was offside except the linesman didn't give it.

I'm extremely reluctant to get into that 'such-and-such hates us' mode, as every team thinks they suffer...but Marwood's "efforts" last night were breathtaking in their waywardness - a new benchmark. Or did I miss something and it was actually the 'FanZone'? Except they're usually not as biased on that.

In fact, we might never be able to complain about Andy Gray, Clive Tyldesley at al again...because, we'll sigh '.. at least they're not as bad as Marwood that night..."
