    Wowee!

I'm not bothered about getting into a full discussion about this, but suffice it to say that I don't think you're in the best position to gauge the quality of our support and find it strange that you choose to single our fans out for criticism in this thread when Evertonians have been dishing out the most unsavoury kind of abuse to our captain. But then again, it is Gerrard.

        No worries.

Well don't post **** then basically saying i've never been to Anfield before when you know **** all about me.

How am i singling out Liverpool fans btw? I'm stating the truth, no?

It's being discused on Talk Sport with Wrighty and
Adrian "I'm a ******" Durham at the moment.

Apparently Liverpool fans were having a pop at Lee Carsley and his
down syndrome baby and Everton fans were having a pop about Hillsborough.

Find this hard to believe and would love to have a defence to back this up.

              Were these songs sung??

Someone needs to get on and fight our corner here.

I would but I've had a bevvy and I'd get cut off for saying the wrong thing.

Err, I'd said you'd barely set foot in Anfield. I stand by that statement given that you've been to all of ten games. I fail to see how you have formed a sensible first-hand opinion on our support base from your armchair. But then, maybe you haven't.

Nobody is agruing that there isn't a minority of dickheads following the club, but listing every incident you can think of (especially when you have read about most of it from tabloid newspapers) surely points out the blindingly obvious in the least helpful sense, particularly when you fail to mention anything about the Everton chants re: Gerrard's child. Similarly, patronising experienced supporters, telling them to "wake up and smell the coffee" smacks of irony coming from yourself.

i would love too but i can't be arse dwith those shows - tho i was at the game - sitting right by the evrton fans in lower annie road and never once heard anything about lee carsley's baby - in fact i bet 99.9% of reds didn't know he had a baby - but i can confirm everton did have a few pops at hillsborough as weel as their venomous "murderers" chant that was screamed with much hatred

I cant imagine either liverpool or everton fans having a pop over these two subjects...I hope neither of these incidents occured.
Just look at the face: it's vacant, with a hint of sadness. Like a drunk who's lost a bet.

I was quoting that Michael chap.
Ten games for someone from Norn Iron isn't bad going btw.

I was hoping someone would come on here and say that.

Don't believe for one minute we would rip the piss out out that sort of thing.

Sounds like a Bitter Blue ringing in to tar us all with the same brush.

Listen, I'm not having a go at your passion or commitment to the club. What I'm saying is that you are quite vehemently pursuing this line about the support base when I don't think it is particularly necessary, helpful or informed. The bit in the press release about Neville being spat at is bollocks as far as I have seen (both at the game and from replays) and I think their response was one of the biggest ****-house replies you could expect. It is as if they are vindicating their fans' chants about Gerrard's kid.

Considering their behaviour at the weekend (and I saw and heard what they were doing from before the game til well after) I just don't think it's our fans who require scrutiny.
