Yep, he's definitly up there with Steve Davis but at least Davis is quite witty at times. That's my new book. 'Shut the **** Up, by Dr. Denis Leary'. Patients come in. 'Doctor I-' Shut the **** up! NEXT!! 'Doctor, I've got this-' SHUT THE **** UP!! NEXT! 'He made me feel so much better. He just told me to shut the **** up. Nobody ever told me that before!'

Newcastle look very poor, the first pen claim was nothing, the player fell over on minimal contact. The second pen was the best shout but the ball was clearly to hand - could have gone either way but nowhere near as clear-cut as the one we didn't get against neverton. The third was a nothing shout.
That cheating ex-chelski scummer babarayo (spelling??) practically caught the ball in the area and we get nothing.
Swings and roudabouts. Geordies deserved nothing in that game.

I quite like Roeder normally. He did an excellent job last year and his youth coaching credentials are excellent. Being poor at interviews is not a reasonable criticism of a manger in my opinion.Originally posted by kurtangle01Steve Davis has a dry sense of humor but Roeder has nothing. He's a complete prick.
9/10 managers and supporters would make similar comments after a defeat. You need to defend your team unless they have had a run of poor displays. The goal was clearly a freak in the sense that a/ that sort of shot is rarely attempted and even more rarely executed well, so the keeper can't be expected to be in position for it and b/ The keeper did slip and if he hadn't you would hope as the keepers manager he would have been able to save it."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

There were several ‘penalty’ incidents for both teams, que sera sera Glenn. He should stick to his own inability to gel a multi, multi million team together rather than hope for preferential decisions from the Referee. How many penalty decisions have we been denied in the last three league games? How many times have we hit the woodwork? Where is the whining from Benitez?
As for Harper slipping, it was only the amazing audacity of Xabi that caused that. If it had been a ‘lesser’ shot you wouldn’t have had the look of absolute ‘brown trousers’ terror on Harper’s face as he realised where he was and what Alonso had attempted, thus the slip.
Geordies ****ing piss me off – listen, you haven’t been a big club for years! Just because you fill your ground with lard arse guys who strip off in the middle of December doesn’t mean you automatically qualify as a ‘big’ club.HOT CANCER.

I really don't get why people have such a desire to see clubs in financial ruin. I'm not a fan of the chairman at Newcastle but I have nothing against the fans or club.
I think Roeder did a great job of making a team last season but has suffered from not buying any central midfielders. I guess Duff was to good a deal to turn down and successive managers have failed to bring in a Shearer understudy/replacement so bringing in a forward was an equal necessity. I hope they do okay this season, but I think other teams in the league have improved a lot and so I can see them struggling again."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

Because they think they are a bigger club than they actually are. Sure they can fill a stadium most games with a load of Gerodies, but what have they won in the last 50 odd years? fcuk all. They have no national or international reach (that i'm aware of anyway), and only just got into the UEFA cup though the Intertoto, and that's only because they made it easier this year. I'm sick of that **** Shepherd putting up big money for players, who just don't belong at a **** club like Newcastle, pains me to see the likes of Parker and MO wasting their careers there. I also hate Alan Shearer (even though he's retired) and if he's meant to be the embodiment of their club then it's a club i'm glad I don't support.
The fact is NUFC is a big club as far as the borders of Newcastle go, after that they're nothing. And it irritates me when sour faced ****s like Roeder can't gracefully accept defeat. The sheer fact we pinged the ball around the pitch without them touching it for minutes at a time, kind of indicates how the game went, and if he thinks they deserved a draw from that, then he's a bigger idiot than I thought.Thomas Hicks Senior
