His last two goals for the club haven't been bad at all.

That must be a first in footballing history - at any level! To score two consecutive goals (albeit months apart) from inside his own half....surely never been done before?!

What amazed me about the goal tonight is the way he won the ball, looked around for the right pass, steadied himself and passed it into the net!

I'll be honest, I was thinkning that Alonso could have done with a few games out. But that was a magnificent performance today, before that goal I was tied for MOM between him and Garcia (who I thought alson had an excelent game, back to his best). But for that Goal alone he gets MOM off me.
