I dont want Arteta, but I think I would probably listen to offers for Xabi.

Slight deviation, but should we be looking to break the bank for Fabregas?? Imagine him in our side!! We would be real championship material with him and Mascher in midfield.

Xabi's going nowhere. He'll be back to his best as of next season.
People forget he's been injured a fair bit too, constant injuries, especially the wee niggling ones can **** the best of players up.
He's genuinely world class on his day. It would be foolish to let him go.
                Still relatively young as well.

He's genuinely world class on his day. When was the last time he produced a 'world class' performance ?

It would be foolish to let him go. Even for 15m ?

Still relatively young as well. I dont think 27 is young for a footballer

He needs to use the run-in to get sharp and show he still has it.

Never said anything about him producing a world class performance in a particular game, he probably has though but can't think of one right now. I'm saying he IS world class.
£15 million is **** all nowadays, who would you get to replace him for that money? Reo Coker or someone probably.
He's 26 btw, you obviously don't have as good a knowledge of LFC players compared to myself

Xavi or Iniesta are just as good and might be cheaper

If we are going to play with the formation we have at the moment, Mascherano and Alonso in the centre is a great combination.

He hasn't repeated what he first did for us in the last couple of seasons and I'd be tempted to sell him at the end of next season if he doesn't get back to his best.

                              As for Arteta, no chance.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!
