    Expect changes tomorrow

Just wana say im delighted with this. Go for it Rafa, **** tomorrow and save our big guns for Tuesday!! Tuesday is much more important, tomorrow will be a worthwhile sacrifice

    Benitez - Expect changes
Liverpool boss set to ring the changes- SKY SPORTS

Rafa Benitez could gamble on wholesale changes when Liverpool return to the Emirates Stadium for the second time in four days on Saturday.

The Spaniard has often been criticised for selecting his team to accommodate upcoming UEFA Champions League fixtures, but with the quarter-final against Arsenal so evenly poised, Benitez admits it is likely he will rest key players for the clash in the capital.

Striking sensation Fernando Torres was taken off in the final minutes of Wednesday's 1-1 Champions League draw and is highly unlikely to be risked again.

Benitez may also opt to rest skipper Steven Gerrard, Sami Hyypia, Jamie Carragher, Dirk Kuyt and Ryan Babel as his eyes gaze firmly at the second leg on Merseyside.

    Think carefully

Benitez, who could play Peter Crouch and fit-again Andriy Voronin up front, said: "I will need to think carefully about my team for the league match.

"Torres and Gerrard will need to be strong for the second leg, and Kuyt ran himself to a standstill on Wednesday.

"Some players recover in two or three days, others need four. Maybe we will need to change some players.

"The age may be the key. Fernando can recover in two days, but Sami could take five. We will have to wait and see.

"I am expecting to make changes, I cannot expect them to play three times like that in seven days, certainly with the very high tempo of the games.

"It is impossible to play these same players three times in a week. Impossible."

For once I'm happy he is going to rotate, Don't want to see Torres, Carra or Gerrard anywhere near the Emirates tomorrow

Exactly i hope Torres, Gerrard, Kuyt, Carra and Sami are all sent home to prepare for Tuesday. We are so close to the Semi's and Arsenal will be shattered by tuesday

whoever plays tomorrow, their remit has to be to knacker out the arsenal team. simple as that. **** the score. knacker them out. given the pressure and atmosphere on tuesday, they'll be ****ed for the last 30 mins.

If I were Rafa I'd tell them to play exactly the same as Tuesday. I'd even be tempted to play our reserve team. Might put on a good show

It's a difficult one to call. Obviously we need to rest some players but at the same time I have no desire to see us capitulate in the way we have in other games when we have concentrated on the CL instead of the league. Hyypia, Torres and Gerrard are probably the three I would rest.

Maybe have Voronin, Babel and Benayoun off Crouch. I guess resting Hyypia decides the CB pairing is Skrtel and Carra. I'd play Riise and Arbeloa maybe on the flanks. Ideally I would want physical players in both positions and pretend we are Bolton for a day but we don't really have the option in the squad.

Adebayor's got a slight ankle injury, but is going to play anyway.

Now would it be wrong of me to suggest that maybe one of our ressies could find out which ankle and, er, make it worse than a 'slight' injury?

No, no, I could never say that. Me? With my reputation?

Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.

                  Realistically?

                  Walcott
                  Gilberto
                  Diaby
                  Denilson
                  Traore
                  Bendtner

I’m assuming Rosicky is still injured.

I wouldn’t expect Wenger to make too many changes though. It’s far too big a game for them. It’s huge, absolutely huge for the Arsenal.

Arsenal cant afford to make changes They must win

I have to say that Walcott could be key for them over next 2 games

Should we not play a full team be fair to the other title contenders?

Come on, how many of you fell for it?

Can't see Arsenal making many changes they HAVE to win to stay in contention for the title
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Should get Rafa to "accidentally" stand on Adebayour's leg. Would be like Eduardo all over again wit that weight behind it.
                          3rd place. Worst champions ever.

                            Good. I'd hope to see:

                            Reina

                            Arbeloa
                            Skrtel
                            Carra
                            Riise

                            Pennant
                            Lucas
                            Alonso
                            Benayoun

                            Crouch
                            Voronin

I'd like to see a couple of promising youngsters on the bench, or possibly even given shock starts

                              Reina

                              Arbeloa/Finnan
                              Carra
                              Skittles
                              Insua

                              Plessis
                              Lucas

                              Voronin/Riise
                              Benny
                              Pennant

                              Crouch
