I'd love to hear Ferguson complaining that we cost United the title by putting a reserve team out against Arsenal
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Maybe you're right ... though, really I see the title as beyond them, and if they know we will rotate I think they will switch a few players as well.

I don't think that's going to happen. Arsenal's team are the fittest team I've see in the PL for a long time.

They have such energy and keep going and going. I very much doubt they'll be knackered for the match on Tuesday........I do hope so though!!

What's behind their recent poor form, then, Slinky? Its been suggested that they are a young team and do not have a big squad and the pressures of the season are catching up with them. Maybe they are mentally tired. We should maybe rotate formations tomorrow 9-0-1 the first twenty minutes, 2-3-5 the next twenty and so on - confuse them and tire their little brains.

I think that is a huge factor but I really think you can't overstate the importance of Gallas' response to the draw in the match when Eduardo broke his leg. He is very much the leader in that team and to see him act like that seems to have knocked a lot of the other players confidence.

I think their performance against us after a comeback against Bolton might well see them recover though. I'm hoping they manage to confine their rediscovery of form to games against other teams or at least to the PL.

They were more knackered than us on Wednesday despite our players being on the back foot. Watch from 84 minutes in again and tell me who looks the most likely to score. Arsenal were dead on their feet. If they put the same line up out Saturday and Tuesday we'll wipe the floor with them at Anfield.

It's the exact same reason Arsenal have gone of the boil recently, they have run out of steam.

They'll be well up for the game on Tuesday and they're dangerous at our place. Yes they're mentally tired but physically they are still very strong.

We had them on the backfoot once or twice but to be fair they did have a massive percentage of the ball compared to us in that game. I do think that the atmosphere at Anfield on Tuesday will spook the Arsenal team like it has done to Chelsea so they may well struggle.

Why does everyone thinks rafa will play a weakened team against a freefalling Arsenil.

LETS SLAUGHTER THEM ON SATURDAY AND HAVE THE PHYSOCLOGICAL ADVANTAGE FOR THE HOME GAME IN THE CL

Lucas can hold the midfield. Our FBs and wingers are good enough to cover for each other. The real problem is if we decide to rest Torres and Gerrard. Between the two of them they have > 50% of our EPL goals. Given that we will have a weaker midfield I'd be inclined to play SG and rest Torres.

We wouldn't slaughter them even if we played our first choice eleven. In fact, if Wednesday is anything to go by we would be lucky to get a point.

We're in an extremely strong position to finish fourth and we have a better than average chance of reaching the semi finals of the European Cup.

I genuinely cant see any logical reason why Rafa would risk key players for this one.
