Some positives today not least the fact that we managed to avoid defeat twice on the bounce away to a big side.

Plessis did well on his debut, didn't look phased and the back 4 were fantastic.

And a word for Peter "it's nice to remind people I'm alive" crouchy who I feel quite sorry for. Great goal and good performance. Crouchy

I'd have took a point before kick off so I'm pleased.

We gave some of the bigger players a rest which was good and Plessis looked comfortable.

A good point and it was nice to see Crouchy get man of the match.

Hopefully that result will deflate them. They are out of the title race now no doubt. I think holding them at the emirates twice in a week is a huge psychological blow for them. We need to make Anfield a cauldron on Tuesday, an even bigger atmosphere than the chelsea semi finals. Put the fear of god into the arsenal youngsters.

Yes that's the impression I got but I can't blame him. I think his treatment has been disgusting actually. He's been great in the time he's played even in his goal drought at the start as he was very involved in some great play and goals.

Still think he'd be great up top with Torres or even spearing athree pronged attack with babel and torres jsut off

we were more than a match for arsenal today, didnt crack under pressure and some more composure from voronin would have seen us win the game and we would have been worthy winners. we have drawn our games against 2 of the other top 3 and went ahead in 3 of those games so things are improving. Replacements for risse, pennant, and voronin and get our heads sorted with regard to manure and things are looking up.

It would be great if Plessis performance today got rafa thinking about debuting the other youngsters who are on the brink but it wont.

I think he'll be leaving, but he's done a good job for us over the last 3 years and, errr, scored a good goal today. Played well too.
