Since when has Rafa cared about that? He's not keeping Crouch happy is he?

Rotation is the way forward, although at times I do think Rafa has gone overboard with the number of rotations, especially as the quality coming into the team hasn't been great.

I'd suggest that next season will see more quality on the books and a little less rotation; still keeping things fresh for later in the season but allowing us enough power to beat teams early on.

its chicken and egg tho isnt it. how do you know the quality isnt there until you've given the players a few chances and they prove they're not up to it.

i thought pennant could kick on from last season, i thought sissoko was ready to step up, i thought kuyt would have a better second season, didnt expect finan to get worse, thought voronin was a promising option. hoped kewell would come back. hoped babel would click in the 2nd half of the season. the list goes on doesnt it. of the above, first season players deserve a second season but then they go. as we saw sissoko leave.

I believe the above players have the ability, the just don't have the mentality to be squad players / super subs with the exception of kuyt.
