I bought the green and white checkerboard shirt circa '96 and thought it looked sharp. But, never wore it again after the Cup Final.

I told my girlfriend after she said "there is still the second half to go" that she was ****ing idiot and not to talk to me for the rest of the night.Originally posted by jonesie View PostI was very, very excited when we signed El-Hadji Diouf.
I once owned a Stan Collymore replica shirt.
I questioned Rafa's wisdom in signing Peter Crouch.
At half time in Istanbul, I thought we were going to lose. (Crazy I know
)
I nicked someone's beer in Athens. (wanted to get that off my chest for a while)
There were a couple of hours in work on the morning that the Klinsmann story broke, that I and several others thought Rafa was going to resign."I'm sorry you'll have to speak up I'm wearing a towel".

I thought:
-Collymore and Fowler would be front 2 for Liverpool and England for years
-Paul Ince was the missing piece
-McManaman would sign a new contract
-Houllier would win us the title
-Heskey would score more goals when when he played for a big club
-Litmanen would be great
-Diouf and Diao would be good signings
-Koptalk had real inside info
-Hicks and Gillett would invest money and make us able to compete with Mancs and Chelsea on and off the pitchThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Shockingly he's still on our books, he's currently on loan at Le MansOriginally posted by Taffy View Postbut Le Tallec seems to have gone back to pub football hasn't he!
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

"All this moving around is perhaps evidence that Le Tallec has never truly settled on Merseyside since arriving from Le Havre in 2003."Originally posted by Gaz View PostShockingly he's still on our books, he's currently on loan at Le Mans
