    I got the impression that going out on loan was the last-chance saloon and not part of the final step. So I'd be suprised if the top class players a la Nemeth et al end up going out on loan.
    That is interesting. And probably a reasonable interpretation on the loan in many cases (although surely Hammill wasn't on last chance, Anderson and Hobbs neither). I'm on step 3 with the under 9 team I am coaching in the States. I hope to have them at step 5 in a month's time!

      Yeah,seems like players who go out on loan in rafa`s mind are finished with Liverpool.really thought Hobbs was gonna make it and then we signed Skittles.

        Even if the players don't make it, if we can recoup some cash from selling them it would be a bonus. Look at how much United made last summer, selling garbage such as Richardson and Rossi.
