crouch has none of these attributes

in his defence he has great control and quick feet... is he good enough for LFC, in my opinion no.

Cant argue with that to be fair, but still he is a very decent player ... I wont lose too much sleep if he goes and I do rate him highly but you are right top strikers really need to have those qualities

I dont want Peter to leave, but i cant see him sitting on the bench for another season, it will kill his career. Rafa will be looking for more options to play around the spine of this formation

Not really, there are loads of great strikers who aren't quick (van Nistelrooy for one) or particularly good in the air (Henry for example) .

bobbyfallon obviously has this ideal about the perfect striker but you need your pool of strikers to offer different attributes and qualities.

It's all well and good saying "ooh well the identikit modern striker needs to be a poacher, fast, strong and good in the air" but really he's just describing the sort of striker HE likes.
