Thanjk you.
Paul.S
I mean really. Turned like Dalglish in his pomp, hit it with subtle curl and the power of Greyskull. Almunia didn't move until it had rebounded out of the net like a frisky trout.
Name me anyone else who could have scored that goal. Go on, I urge you.
There's one team left he's still to score against to cement his undying legend status. And that could happen before the season's out.
What price a winner in the European Cup Final, to crown his first season at the club?
The parallels with Kenny go on and on.
'The dressing room is down. We wouldn't feel as bad if we felt that we played a side that are good after playing them over two legs and that is the feeling from the whole team today'
So proud of the team. After Diaby's goal I was feckin worried. But Sami is my hero.
Its not over yet though. Chavs to come. It will NOT be a walk over as people think. They are a good side. A real good side.
One thing I did notice tonite was the amount of serious athletes that wenger puts in his squad. Where are our (sorry no racism intended) black cunts. Momo was the only one. Now he's gone. Some of arsenals players have incredible athleticism which I think is something that our squad lacks.
Diaby looks a machine. I think he's gonna develop into quite a menacing player.
The good thing about naturally athletic players is that even if their skill may not be technically fantastic, they can still beat a man 'cos of their strength and speed. Also Arsenals passing game, when on song, is so much better than ours.
We played with incredible heart, and intelligence tonight, but to be honest, they were a tired side lacking depth. We need to be more decisive with our passing game, and really look to move forward more often. That 1st 20 or so minutes had me burying my head in the couch with embarrassment.
If we do get past the Chavs and end up meeting Utd in Moscow, we are going to need to play with more conviction and aggression. And FFS , no Gerrard on the left! Useless there.
that was the most scintillating match of football i've watched for a long time, since istanbul easy. torres goal was simply orgasmic, the defence standing off them all the time was infuriating, sami's bullet, that little **** flamini being taken off, the penalty that replicated the goal against chav's in 05 as being the incident that never was.
that game had everyhting and more, and ends up with us through!
Special mention to Dirk Kuyt, he's taken so much stick this season, but once again tonight he was absolutely immense
Istanbul was even more special for me as Vladi was one of the heroes. He took a lot of stick during his time at Anfield - mainly for his constant injuries, but he never had a bad word to say, was always first to congratulate the goal scorer (at least when he was fit enough to be on the field) and always gave his best. Dirky is similar, though he is not injury prone, he has endured a turbulent season, but he has never hidden on the field, he has never voiced a negative thought to the media.
People like Kuyt deserve every special moment they get. I for one hope he becomes the first Liverpool player to score twice from open play in a European Cup final, and this time ends up a winner. For those who say 'not Liverpool standard', give me a team of Masher, Gerrard, Pepe and Torres and seven lesser talents with Dirk's commitment and effort, and I see a team which will win us trophies.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.
I thought it was only the bitters who were obsessed enough to have match threads on us.
Some of the manc *******s on this thread actually wanted a terrorist attack to stop us getting through.

This site needs more voices like yours my fine friend, well said
Anybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015 #****CITY
Well we all said that Kuyt will come out of his rough patch and while this might not translate to goals, it certainly translates to tactical awareness and assists.
Good on ya Dirky and I hope you score in the final too!

That is ****ing funny! They are convinced we get the rub of the green on every penalty decision?
Apparently we were outplayed but we went through. Erm, yes perhaps for the first 20 minutes of the match but we took a bit diving **** on them from after that and WELL before any penalty decision.
Bunch of inbred monkey cunts.
I hope Roma score three and Ronaldo gets injured hitting the floor after a spectacular dive.
