Clear cut penalty. When you see it from the angle behind Babel then you see why it's a clear cut one.

Fabregas should have walked by the way when Babel scored the fourth. Just because the ref played advantage don't mean that the goal chance red card shouldn't been given.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I have seen them not given but thats not the case. Its a case of whether Babel would have been in a more advantageous position had he not been knocked, pushed, tripped in the box and I believe so.

The difference between this decision and the Hleb one was that the ball was in control of the attacking player (Babel) whilst the ball in the Hleb case wasn't IMO, others feel free to argue.

He got pulled by Fabregas and knocked off balance, tried to stay on his feet but Toure tilted him some more. Its not where the contact is initially done, its if it carries on into the box and it did. I listened to this very rule a cuople months back from my manc friend when Ronaldo was tripped slightly and he stumbled forward into the box and was given a penalty. Even commentators said the rule. Babel was practically sideways before he fell. Penalty.

Well, i've just been sat in a pub talking to me mates, all mancs, and they all say it was a penalty, no question. I tend to agree, there's contact, and Babel did appear to try and stay on his feet.

We also agree that the Hleb one was just as much a penalty, but Hleb didn't help himself by making a meal out of it.

          That's life eh?

I thought that, but then realised the ref must have been playing on as was in control of the ball/situation. Then Toure crashed into him and the rest is academic.

                  Yeah I think it is.

Similar to their non-penalty last week in a way, so quite how all the Arse fans think this "definately isn't" a pen when they were so sure of the one last week is silly really.

Exactly. Hleb made a meal out of it the fanny. It's tough ****, decisions go against us all the time so it's about time we had some in our favour.

At least Babel tried to stay on his feet.

Clear Penalty just like last week but who's to say they would've have scored theirs? Also Babel's goal makes last week's decision irrelevant.

**** Arsenal and their smug fans, **** bitter comical Wenger who at the highest level is found wanting again, **** that no-mark, plastic club who are nothing more than a glorified NFL franchise with no pedigree in Europe, **** their talk of injustice and bitter ranting because they've come up short in Europe again, **** the London-centric Arsenal-loving media hacks, **** them all. We beat them on the field of play, we beat them with a character and a spirit and a soul that they could not match. Today they saw the Spirit of Liverpool, and they succumbed.

Oh, and btw, to answer your question of was it a penalty - **** YES.

Mate, they are pathetic. I was at the Emirates on Sat, and we put them to shame with our singing and bouncing to the Torres song

Their only songs are "Ar-se-nal, Ar-se-nal", "we love you Arsenal we do", oh and the ingeniously worded "Adebayor, Adebayor give him the ball and he'll score" to We Won it 5 Times (which Spurs fans have adapted to "Adebayor, Adebayor, his dad washes elephants and his mum is a whore" )

Oh, yeah, they've got this brilliant one that goes "ooh, aah, ooh, aah, oh to be a goo-nar". That one seems to suit them because it sounds like a monkey grunting.

I don't know whats worse, the chanting or the Spurs racism.

                                Its Ar-se-naw. Its Mandarin.

The Torres bounce was good on Sat but tonight it was awesome after he scored.
