He is, but he won't be playing with his own cash, by that i mean dollar in the bank, he won't go near that, so it makes the issue of him being in trouble, or his business assets being in trouble a very grey area.

I dont believe Hicks is a willing seller, everyone has been saying for ages he is bluffing. Im not so sure. My hope would be that he was desperate and forced to sell but he is still fighting, his comments today dont sound like someone going anywhere soon. If he was loosing his grip he wouldn't make himself look more of prick then he already has.

Hicks is still insisting that it is not the benefit of pre-emption rights that he has but in fact a perpetual veto of sale. Now can this be true? What idiot would agree that he could not sell his property, ever, without a third party's permission (unless it is a lender/mortgagee of course)? And shouldn't there be some kind of caveat to not make the veto absolute, and ensure that the the permission is not unreasonably withheld?

            exactly

i dont like the way hicks and gillett have dragged us in to the media mire as much as anyone.

imo the ship needs to be steadied NOW. if that means hicks takes total control with some strong backers then so be it.

parry will be replaced at last and we can get back to footballing matters, let the boardroom sort itself out.

You misunderstand, my point is that no matter what drivel Hicks comes out with about his Empire not being in trouble i believe otherwise, he may not personally be in trouble, as i said he has his own cash in the bank that LFC wont see any of, but his business empire i believe is compromised, that affects us & this situation.

As for having one owner, stability, no matter who it is, I would rather 1000 owners squabbling rather than Hicks with cart blanche to lump debt after debt after debt on the club, untill it becomes unservicable, for him to run the club in the same crass way he conducts all his affairs.

Hope that puts the point i was trying to get across in the 1st place.

PS, Parry has my FULL support while he works against Hicks. We MUST keep his Vote on the Board....At all costs.

agreed....HOWEVER, once that fat yank waster cunt has gone we MUST sack parry. no matter what happens the man is a prick!
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Rafa is saying he wants to speak to the owners as he is surprised to what has been said/written this week. Rafa is unhappy about who was at the meeting with Klinsmann.

Rafa mainly wants to speak to Parry, according to 5live.

Yeah, Hardly Dramatic really. Expected but not Dramatic. Hicks looking to divide the others me thinks. All Parry & GG need to do is hand Rafa a new contract, problem solved. Cant lose Parry off the board while Hicks is still an owner imo.

Right. That's it. Proof that the board room shenanigans is affecting the coaches/management, if not the team. This must be resolved asap, and the only way is for both yanks to depart from the club with their tails between their legs never to return and for Parry and Moores to fall on their swords

Exactly right, But it MUST be in the order you stated above. ( imo Moores can stay, he's hurting inside, genuinely).
