What position in the team would you play Babel?

It's something i've noticed in many a thread...........everyone seems to want to play Babel in a different position. Got me thinking "Where would you play Ryan Babel in the Liverpool line-up?" Think it will be interesting to see what the majority think.

I think he'd do well in a 4-2-3-1 as any of the front 4, but I'd look to play him regularly as one of the 3 behind the striker - where exactly depending on who else we have for the other positions. I'd expect those three to switch about a fair bit anyway.

I don't understand why people have this obsession of Babel being a striker.
He won the penalty the other night from the driving down the left flank and cutting inside.
Ok, he may well end up as a centre forward but i've no problems with him playing left mid either.

He can play any of the four but I am happy with his role on the left where he can unleash his powerful right foot.

if only he could do more with his left foot apart from stand on it. thats one of the reasons some of us want to see him on the right.

yet to develop the positional sense to play as a striker.

I really rate the lad. While Torres has proved to be far and away our best signing Babel has also shown alot of promise. He's a very exciting player.
Shouldn't underestimate his impact against Arsenal on tues night, that was some ****ing cameo appearance.

Rafa is right. Play him left wing, he is developing and has done well for his first season. He could develop into a superb goal scoring winger. Just needs to work on his left foot crosses

surprised by the amount of 'from the bench' vote. he isn't going to develop and improve on the bench and that's what slowed pongolle's progress imho.
and who do you start ahead of him on the left? yossi? riise? oh...hooray...whoop...

If he could learn how to cross with his left foot, he'd be the complete package on the LW.

Play him on his natural right side when we have a replacement for the left

or keep him on the left or down the middle

                          Just play him.

his excelleration from a standing start to get into the penalty box was truly unreal and the ground he made up on fab was incredible. **** off a shovel.

Who's the quickest? Babel or Walcott?
