Think you're right, back in the late 80s they came and watched us I think. In fact I remember reading an interview with Dre in the official LFC mag back in the day, he was raving about John Barnes IIRC.

Yeah his parents are Scousers who emigrated to Canada and they brought him up as a red. He lived in the UK for a while in the 80s and stood on the Kop at matches a couple of times then.
