apparently robert carlyle (rangers fan) used to follow everton up untill a few years ago when making "The 51st State" with Samuel Jackson when the pair of them were asked if they were now liverpool fans. Carlyle said he would "check up" on lfc scores and jackson said "soccer doesn't really interest him....but he might change his mind if liverpool buy him tickets to the match"

as far as i know robert carlyle has always been a red,i think it was his idea to wear the liverpool top in the 51st state.
