‘retain the integrity of the league’ ....

‘retain the integrity of the league’ .... pathetic, almost as bad as Warnock last year...

8ollocks, you've had the entire season to stay up.... we've got a champions league semi to try & win... couldn't give a 5hit if Bolton stay up or not
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

What a knob. Whatever team Rafa puts out you would expect them to do well against........ oh I cannot believe I am even trying to justify this ****!! **** off Megson.

What difference does it make which team we put out. Fulham and Bolton are both **** and are deservedly going to be relegated. **** OFF

Bolton should look to the fact they sold their best player in January for the reason why they're close to going down; not that a team chasing the Champions League gold is going to rest a couple of players against a team below them.

I don't blame Megson for coming out with this, who can blame him?

I'd do the same if I was Bolton manager. But talk about double standards. Maybe he should have retained the integrity of the UEFA cup. Putting out a second string side made the competition a laughing stock.

If Bolton go down it will be because they are not good enough, not because LFC put out a couple of second string sides.

It was the same with Warnock last year. He put a weakened side out in the FA Cup and they got spanked 3-0 by Swansea. I'm sure he also put out a weakened side against the scum because he felt he wouldn't have a chance of winning it anyway. So when it suits them....

Also Warnock wasn't complaining when we put a weakened team out against them on the opening day of the season.

As for Bolton, if they had put out their strongest team for all competitions this season UEFA Cup, FA Cup, League Cup as well as the league I might have some sympathy for them. They chose to prioritise certain competitions when it suited them, and we are entitled to do the same. Their suggestion otherwise is hypocritical

Warnock didn't complain about Arsenal sending a weakened side (Aliadiere, Baptista) to Bramall Lane when they won 1-0 around Xmas 2006.

What I found funniest was him saying that Fergi would never go as low as Rafa and put a weakened team out. Only for him to drop half his team against West Ham and hammer the final nail in his coffin.

Exactly, but he never brings this fact up when he is critising us....
If your good enough you stay up, it's not rocket science

Funniest thing about Warnock was something I read about him quitting Sheff Utd because he believed he could get a better job at a bigger club straight away
