Hmmm ... don't like 3 at the back. Agger will provide competition for centre back next season.

I seriously think the 3-5-2 formation is a terrible way to go for 90% of games. I can't see us ever doing it regularly and really wonder why even after all this time under Rafa everyone thinks as soon as we get good CB cover we will move to a back three. I don't understand why people complain we are not offensive enough and yet still want us to go to a formation which against all but the most inept opposition yells "I'm here for a nil - nil".

Doubt Agger will play LB and if/when we buy Barry I'm sure it isn't to play him at LB (apart from in an emergency) Realistically we need at least one new LB:

Common opinion is we need to upgrade from Riise, and we can't rely on Aurelio - so I'd let both go.
