Went in to my exam the next day in my liverpool kit, scarf and the examiner looked at me and just said good luck with a smirk lol. I just kept thinking Smmmmiiiccceeerrrr during the exam lol. The big difference in this game over the last few we've had is that we HAVE to score. Every other game has been a case of a draw isn't too bad. This time (although a draw could work) we have to get a goal, and this will have to change Benitez's approach a little I think.

I'm pretty confident that we can get a goal this time too, although Chelsea have been pretty resillient over the last few weeks. Maybe this is their year.

                      its strange this time around

if Manure go through tonight, the nerves for tomorrow will certainly kick in but in some ways it would make going out to Chelski easier to take for a couple of reasons

firstly, I can't bear the thought of the Mancs beating us in the final (although it would be the ultimate high for us to beat them)

secondly, I think Chelski have a better chance of beating the Mancs in a one off final at the moment

perfect senario, Barca to score last gasp winner at OT tonight, we to score late equaliser tomorrow to make it 2-2 and join then in the final which I could then enjoy and think we would win

                      Keep this quiet

I can see MU getting it wrong. Fergies comments after the Chels game makes me think he is actually starting to lose it. One can only hope.

I'm seriously considering going to play golf for a couple of hours and leaving phone and any contact with the outside world miles away - just get myself well out of sight in the middle of nowhere - i have never ever thought about this for any liverpool game, i'm usually very good and have loads of bottle, can watch penalties etc etc but this game has got me, i can't take it......I think i will relax a little if the mancs get knocked out tonight, it will certainly help knowing that what ever happens that won't win but the thought of chelsea vs utd final is killing me
Expect Crouch at around 70 mins

I'd be tempted to put Hyypia on for the last 5 minutes up front if it was 0-0.
some classics on here at the moment. surely if sami was likely to score we should play him from the start...

(actually i know what you mean but i think we're all getting a bit excited and starting to imagine what wonder-tactics we'd employ if we were rafa.)

am nervous already but it's too tight to call for me. chelsea have a better squad but we have a better manager. the idea of keeping it tight for 70 minutes and then going for it would seem to be the height of madness - i don't think chelsea will tire like arsenal did. they're seriously fit. scoring first seems like an absolute must but then we'd have to watch us try to shut chelsea out which makes for seriously stroke-inducing stuff.

I get the same feeling when we go to Stamford Bridge than i do at OT - that we'll get **** all joy and come out losers.

I hope we go down with a fight though.
Yeah same. That's not to say I've lost all hope, there's a chance we could do it, but I don't think we will.
