Makelele- a 34 year old is running Gerrard around. Pretty much says about Gerrard's intelligence against the better players. Consistently wank against the better players in the big games.

The players yet again choke at the big occasion. Cometh the big teams at their place and we can't threaten or control the game. Gerrard has probably had as many touches as the fingers on one hand, Alonso has been poor.

I don't expect us to go through. Expect a hard shift from the Chelsea defence, they'll allow us to have the ball like we did for a brief spell before the end and they will try and break down our extremely slow defence.

That's very harsh. They've done it before and will do it again. It changes nothing. We need to score at least one goal. We must not concede too quickly though.

There seems to be a lack of passion and desire.
