So what if he was injured not like we have any big games coming up still would have left him on

Shut up you ****ing idiot, keep him on and in that atmosphere Torres will try his best, tear or rip his hamstring and then possibly be out until next season, no pre season and guess what? We are ****ed and without our best striker for the early part of next season.

      Yeah, great decision fella.

You think if someone's hamstring has gone, they can keep playing?

That's insane and suggests you dont really know what a hamstring injury is.

So, do I take your word or Rafa's? Hmm, that's a tough one...
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

When Gerrard was taken off against Everton he said he was not playing with his head.
Tonight he said Torres was injured. I believe him.
Oh the man is a midfield maestro
and his passes are sooo delightful

I can't understand why people don't see it was a physical decision. Once Lumplard scored, the game was going to be won from open play, and seeing the physical state of Terry and Carvalho, Babel made a good decision. Bringing on Crouch would meen our midfield winning the second ball ahead of an on form Makelele, where as Ryan was capable of holding the ball around the box to make something out of nothing, or get something on a counter break.

A call that could have gone either way. Crouch or Babel?

Why would he lie? Its not like he doesnt always stand by his decisions.

Absolutely. He doesn't make decisions to make other people happy. He doesn't give a **** and nor should he. No reason for him to 'lie'. Besides, Babel scored FFS. I was bewildered at the time but otherwise no complaints on that front at all.

Other than the goal I thought Torres was poor throughout the game anyway.

I still love him though. When he looked upset on the bench I just wanted to give him a big cuddle.

Not enough support, feck knows what our Captain marvel was up to, Kuyt seemed to misplace all his passes and Benayoun had one moment where he set Torres up.

The 3 behind Torres were simply pants.
                              We come not to play.

Mascher's and Alonso's passing was abysmal last night. When your two central midfielders can't pass then you've got no hope to be honest
