Yeah they both had a mare with the ball, particularly Xabi.

He must have been injured, I don't believe Rafa would have took him off otherwise. It's about time some of our fans belived the coach ahead of Andy ****ing Gray though.

Incidentally the lad he put on for the injured Torres scored anyway.

Hold on, I'm sure Babel scored. Whatever the reason it was worth it.

Rafa is a fantastic coach and he will always make decisions that raise a few eyebrows to say the least. I mean, the Torres substitution aside I was stunned to see Riise start, Kuyt finish (the game that is, not any of his chances) and Alonso. But that is Rafa - he is single minded and does what HE thinks will work, even if it baffles us...

So people are sometimes shocked or baffled by Rafa's substitutions? Well I think that's a good thing.

I used to be able to predict exactly what substitutions Houllier would do. I can't second-guess Rafa.

Now, whose brain would you rather have masterminding the team - mine or Rafa's?

Those cunts at Sky were ****ing creaming themselves all night at the prospect of the Sky Sports Dream final of the Chavs v Scum.

I normally put up with Andy Gray but last night he made me mad, especially when he ****in harped on about that Essien offside goal. FFS.

I think Crouch starting would have done to Chelski what Dogba did to us and Torres would have been able to take advantage of the space and distraction. I'm baffled and angry.

Gray was so wrong about Essien's goal - the goalie's view was obscured which is one of the only clear things mentioned in the offside rule.

You must be confident in your ability if you think you're capable of 'masterminding' the team. You must have a bit of the 'Mourinho' about you. I'm sold.

Some of the fools on this thread need to get a grip on themselves.

Rafa said Torres was injured and took him off. There's no way he would have taken off our main goal threat otherwise. When has Torres ever been taken off in a big game when we were chasing a goal? Never.

Some people need to get their head out of their arses. Are you calling our manager a liar?

Keep this to yourself but I've actually been offered Rafa's job by Hicks, Gillett and DIC.

Yes, that's exactly they're doing. They don't know the meaning of the word 'respect' and it's about time they did.
