    A new 'insider.'

I've just had a brainwave, you could charge people per annum for this stuff.

No wonder AF11 has 'left' he's one of your worldwide scouts, no?

AFII is working for me on a secret project to clone Emiliano Insua.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

AF should come back. There's no need for this self-imposed exile.

Rafa said Torres was injured and took him off. There's no way he would have taken off our main goal threat otherwise. When has Torres ever been taken off in a big game when we were chasing a goal? Never.

Some people need to get their head out of their arses. Are you calling our manager a liar?

I knew someone would use this as an example.

Away to Reading in the league is not a big game compared to a Champion's League semi final and the circumstances surrounding that were a lot different.

Reading away will do for starters, or instead of that what about the games at home this season when he plonked him on the bench from the first whistle.
I agree with you, i believe Torres was injured as well. Going by past history with Rafa though, theres an element of doubt there, at the back of my mind i get a bad feeling this may have been part of another tactical masterplan.

If it comes to light that Torres wasnt injured and he subbed him in a game of that magnitude when we were chasing it, then he should be dismissed on the spot.

Do you really think the media love Chelsea?

They generally hate Chelsea more than any team, for much the same reasons as the rest of us. Although the spite directed at Avram Grant is harsh even for them.
                        Oh I don't know.

wow, that's some statement - oh and for the record i don't think torres was sufficiently injured, if at all, to merit being taken off. I also think reading away was a big game - before reading we were competing

                              I said a big game.

Reading and Birmingham in the league aren't quite the same level as a Champion's League final.

Has Rafa ever rested him for one of our big CL games? Or a game against the top 4?

Quite how people can doubt Rafa's statement that Torres was injured is beyond me.

Show a bit of respect to the man.

for the record on the TV I noticed Torres a couple of minutes before he was subbed trying to run but was taking very short strides, looked strange enough for me to pick it out (he was not in the foreground of the camera shot). Definitely injured, surely someone else noticed this, particularly those at the game.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24
