Nah, I meant the money spent on Rooney and Carrick. At least £17m on Carrick and, according to those I believe, £23m and rising for Rooney based on clauses.

We simply haven't been able to spend that amount of money with any kind of stability, it's a case of fact.

Rafa hasn't got his big signings wrong so I am not going to doubt his ability in signing players in the 'world class' bracket but its about time people saw the whole picture instead of looking at stats which can show one part of the story.
