No.
To be honest I cannot think of a worse European Cup Final than one that contains two English teams. Well I suppose you could say one with two Italian or two Spanish teams. This isn’t what the European Cup should be about. It should be about two teams from different European leagues playing each other but then it’s no longer about that it’s just about the cash.
UEFA should have done more to keep it as it was, including keeping the Cup Winners Cup going. They should have thought of a better way to split the sponsorship and money of the competitions but still making sure the European Cup the pinnacle.
For what it’s worth I obviously would have watch the final against Manure if we had made it but it wouldn’t have been with as much anticipation or excitement as it would have had it been against Barca!

You booked the whole week off?Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostI booked the week of the final off some time ago. Dunno what to do with it now. Still want the time off really – to stay away from Mancunian people and just bury my head in the sand.
Hardcore.
I booked the day after the final off last year to celebrate but ended up drowning my sorrows. People thought I was mad taking time off just because of a football match. They don't understand.
You'd be best going on holidays or something otherwise it'd be too miserable hanging around for the week.A humble guy with healthy desire.

.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

im behind chelsea 100% - didnt ever imagine i would ever say that in my life.
i will be watching the final and hope to god that chelsea win.
The game changed once riise scored the own goal at anfield, and then he was at fault for drogba's second when he tried to play anelka off side. Aurelio's injury has basically cost us this game.
I was feeling very down this morning but then something happened to take the misery out of my mind.
My 2 year old daughter was trying to teach my 1 year old son to sing 'ruby ruby ruby ruby' by the kaiser chiefs and she kept telling him off because he wasnt singing it right. "riby riby riby wo oh oh - di ye di ye oh oh".
This was at 7.00 this morning and if there's ever something to take away the pain its the joy of seeing your kids.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]
