So called Liverpool fans...you're a disgrace

I come into work today (I'm a northerner who works in london BTW) and a so called Liverpool fan (a londoner) who thinks he knows everything about football says to me:

"What do you think about yesterday? I'm not too bothered as it's not as bad as losing in the final to Man United"

Talk about supporting you're team. Who's saying we would have lost to the scum? I'm upset if we lose a friendly let alone a ****ing semi-final in the greatest club competition in the world. Why have these so called Liverpool fans got this **** attitude?

Admittedly yesterday I was saying that I wouldn't be too bothered about the result yesterday but was tring to play the reverse psychology trick. Deep down I wanted to win more than anything. Losing yesterday hurt more than losing in the final last year.

It's hard to day one fan is better than another. But I tell you what I am a better fan than anyone who accepts yesterdays defeat and doesn't care. I'm trying to figure out why someone would think like that? Can anyone think of a reason for this stupidity? Is it because they're southerners (I'm not having a go at southerners by the way)?

Brave face, looking for positives, flat out denial.

i.e., not actually feeling like that, just saying it.

There was a thread not long ago asking who'd rather lose to chelsea now as opposed to scum in the final. People are probably putting a brave face on it. Deep down he's probably ugutted as much as the rest of us are

Hope we get some good news on DIC soon though

A better fan? Mate, you may be more passionate than others but I do not like the term 'a better fan'. If you are a red you are a red in my book, no matter which part of the universe you are from.

Everyone reacts differently - the same thought your friend had also crossed my mind but I quickly dismissed it.

And don't forget, for some people there are more important things in life than Liverpool FC.

Nah, trust me he meant it. He also seems to Chelsea and Arsenal more than he hates Everton/Man United. He seems to accept the latter teams

There is no way I'd say I'm a better fan than anyone - but I can't accept anyone saying that.

I hate Chelsea as much as Everton, guess it's because i'm surrounded by their retarded followers all the time. Nothing matches my hatred of manure.

Agree, its not a matter of not caring about a result but reflecting on the worst case senario, ie. had we gone through, the thought of having to possibly watch that gormless **** Rio screaming as he holds up the CL cup

I would admit to preferring to lose to Chelsea in the Semi than Scum in the final but that doesn't make me less of a Liverpool fan than anybody else on the planet

and just to echo looprevils point, apart from Lampards obvious situation, I myself got ok results back from a recent xray which I was a bit concerned about, things like that help to get over such trivial matters as losing a footy match

                Keep this quiet

For all those wanting Chelsea to win. Go and have a look at the BBC messageboards and read their fans gloating and taking the p*ss. Exactly why I don't give a flying **** who wins the premiership or the european cup. Scum and Chavs are both cunts

Agree, but I would rather the Chavvy *******s win than let the Scum have No.3.

Let the Chavs get No.1, let the Manc get No. 3. Who cares. They'll get them eventually anyway. But you won't get me saying I want the Chavs to beat the Mancs. At the end of the day we ain't won jack this season. I'm hoping we get No. 6 and No. 19 next season. I'm not ****ed about the Chavs or Mancs

I have a Liverbird tattoo'don my back and I have been in pain for my team so that obviously makes me a better support than yow

I wasn't that gutted the to lose to Chelsea. The reason being is that we simply were not good enough over two legs to deserve the win. I hate the Chavs, scum and ****e with a passion. But I'm man enough to not make excuses.

It wasn't our night. The final was another game that wouldn't have entered my head until we got there. Yes, the potential of losing to Man Ure in the final is a bitter thing to think about. But one thing at a time.
