I come into work today (I'm a northerner who works in london BTW) and a so called Liverpool fan (a londoner) who thinks he knows everything about football says to me:
"What do you think about yesterday? I'm not too bothered as it's not as bad as losing in the final to Man United"
Talk about supporting you're team. Who's saying we would have lost to the scum? I'm upset if we lose a friendly let alone a ****ing semi-final in the greatest club competition in the world. Why have these so called Liverpool fans got this **** attitude?
Admittedly yesterday I was saying that I wouldn't be too bothered about the result yesterday but was tring to play the reverse psychology trick. Deep down I wanted to win more than anything. Losing yesterday hurt more than losing in the final last year.
It's hard to day one fan is better than another. But I tell you what I am a better fan than anyone who accepts yesterdays defeat and doesn't care. I'm trying to figure out why someone would think like that? Can anyone think of a reason for this stupidity? Is it because they're southerners (I'm not having a go at southerners by the way)?
