Thanjk you.

I felt exactly this way, mate. It is horrific to lose to anybody but if I had to look at anyone celebrating it would be Chelsea in the Semis than Manure in Moscow.
A better fan? Mate, you may be more passionate than others but I do not like the term 'a better fan'. If you are a red you are a red in my book, no matter which part of the universe you are from.
Everyone reacts differently - the same thought your friend had also crossed my mind but I quickly dismissed it.
And don't forget, for some people there are more important things in life than Liverpool FC.
That is possibly the best sentence i have ever read on a football forum, ever.
"Let me say for the record, I am not a gangster and never have been. Im not the thief who grabs your purse. Im not the guy who jacks your car. Im not down with the people who steal and hurt others. Im just a brother who fight back."
Tupac
For all those wanting Chelsea to win. Go and have a look at the BBC messageboards and read their fans gloating and taking the p*ss. Exactly why I don't give a flying **** who wins the premiership or the european cup. Scum and Chavs are both cunts
Why bother reading it? It's nothing we wouldn't do had we won? Some people need to get a grip.
RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFAEL BENITEZ!
I come into work today (I'm a northerner who works in london BTW) and a so called Liverpool fan (a londoner) who thinks he knows everything about football says to me:
"What do you think about yesterday? I'm not too bothered as it's not as bad as losing in the final to Man United"
Talk about supporting you're team. Who's saying we would have lost to the scum? I'm upset if we lose a friendly let alone a ****ing semi-final in the greatest club competition in the world. Why have these so called Liverpool fans got this **** attitude?
Admittedly yesterday I was saying that I wouldn't be too bothered about the result yesterday but was tring to play the reverse psychology trick. Deep down I wanted to win more than anything. Losing yesterday hurt more than losing in the final last year.
It's hard to day one fan is better than another. But I tell you what I am a better fan than anyone who accepts yesterdays defeat and doesn't care. I'm trying to figure out why someone would think like that? Can anyone think of a reason for this stupidity? Is it because they're southerners (I'm not having a go at southerners by the way)?

You're right though, they are ****s but I have no doubt in my mind that a good % of people on here would have been doing the exact same if we won.
I didn't accept the defeat. I was GUTTED. BUT....what I have been saying to people at work who are trying to slag me off is that i'm not bothered about it, and it's a bigger deal for teams who can't make European Cup finals like chelsea and scum
For me, the season ended when manure beat us 3-0, or at least I really wanted the season to end there and then... the Pako incident, the boardroom shenanigans, (and imho) the loss of form by some snr players, and players letting the manager down on the pitch meant the season was longer than it should have been.
So by the Chelsea game I was neutral. I wanted a better than credible team performance, but felt kinda let down during the first half when even threatening to score seemed a task too much. I thought then it was over without some inspiration (which Yossi provided for too brief a moment).
But... three days later, I still feel hurt, soul-empty and getting even more depressed with the visuals of chelsea or manure winning something.
The only potential bright spark is that we can look forward with more than just hope. We have a solid team with match-winning players, a brilliant manager, and hopefully after Tuesday, a hurt so bad we will hit the ground running with a killer instinct we lacked at crucial points of the season.
Brave face, looking for positives, flat out denial.
i.e., not actually feeling like that, just saying it.
And the prize for correct answer goes to the above
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the darkness at Tannhäuser Gate.
Liverpool Football Club come back from 3 nil down in Istanbul and win.

He was on here on Wednesday complaining about some idiot at work who said they couldn't be bothered about the result later in the evening. Claimed he was a far better fan.

I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.
