nando, ciise and kewell were all big disappointments, but kewell just edges it, i was made up when we signed him and got his name of the back of my kit aswell. he was great for a while and i thought he would be a world beater here, its just the fact we got him over man u, arse, chelsea etc.

Kewell has been a major letdown... The more I think about it, the only reason he is not on top for me is becaue I just gotten used to him being there doing nothing. Unlike many other dissapointments he hasent been shipped off quickly, so he is just forgotten now...Originally posted by Darth Marty View PostIts definitely Kewell as he was, and should, have been the best winger/attacking midielder in the world.
He has been such a disappointment to us its unreal, for whatever reasons he has been rubbish.

I'd probably go Cisse - expensive flop really over hyped and frustrated me so much, for a striker with his pace to be so bad at one on ones in un forgiveable!
Kewell a close second, just for the fact that he's been around so long and cost so much in wages and done so little, but people continued to believe he could come good.
Diouf I continually try to forget ever played for us because his attitude stunk, Morientes was a dissapointment as he was a good player who just didn't adapt.
I think some of the others included are a little harsh David James made mistakes that cost us but I have a fair amount of sympathy as he couldn't have had confidence in front of the backline we had at the time!!
Diomede and Dundee were just poor signing, but no -one really expected them to do anything, and in fairness they never played anywayThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He will go to Spain or Italy and dominate. We will then blame Benitez for not getting the best out of him. Realistically, he is better suited to those leagues and if he does leave it will be because he wants to go.Originally posted by Darkon View PostInteresting take on it... never really considered Alonso for this category because of his past brilliance.
He might end up on a list in a few years???
EDIT: I voted Diouf.Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

Cisse for me - all the hype and his actions showed he believed he was the greatest.
chav's signed dogbreath and we all thought 26M we got a better player for half the cost how wrong were we.
For someone with bags of pace he stood still and wnted the ball to his feet.
Threw his shirt into the crowd every game that's cos it wouldn' of had an ounce of sweat on it.Its times like these we learn to live again FF
