Not at all !!!! I'm pretty certain we wouldn't have spent that much if we didn't have a plan to sell those players !!!

At the end of the day, total net spend was 20 or so million. That's a fact and it's been like this each year since a long time, and this in part explains why we're still lagging behind.

And all of this spending was from borrowed money.

Stevie, whilst being far from thick, has never struck me as being a massively articulate guy. However, that interview on the Offal is pure ****ing dynamite!. Extremely well thought out and measured. Not a sentence wasted. He's mentioned the fans aswell as the players plus a great reference to Bosingwa going to Chelsea for 16M. As has been said already a very significant development.
